Entry Requirements
- A Master’s Degree in related fields as accepted by the PBS Senate.
- This programme also accepts students through APEL T-8 for those who do not have a master’s degree, in accordance with the criteria set by the MQA.

PURE & Proposal Defence
- The student is required to present his or her work in the Putra Research (PURE) Colloquium or its equivalent before being allowed to proceed with the Proposal Defence (PD).
- Each student must publicly present and defend his or her Proposal Defence.
Stage 3
Viva Voce
- The student proceeds with data collection, data analysis, and thesis writing.
- After submission of the thesis, the student is required to attend a physical Viva Voce to orally defend the thesis.
